Graeme Hawker


Graeme is a Research Associate in the Institute for Energy and Environment, part of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. His work is in the area of Whole System Energy Modelling, focussing on the representation of spatial and temporal detail in multi-vector systems, with a particular focus on the future provision of heating and cooling. He is a member of the UK Energy Research Centre, conducting engineering-led modelling of the future UK energy transition in collaboration with energy policy and social science research. Prior to academia, Graeme worked as an analyst in the Scottish wind industry, and is a Chartered Scientist and Member of the Energy Institute.
