Cristina Corchero holds a M. Sc. and a PhD degrees in Statistics and Operations Research (2004, 2011) from the BarcelonaTech – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She worked as post-doc researcher at the Group of Numerical Optimization and Modelling (GNOM, UPC) and she is part-time professor at the UPC since 2005. In 2011, she enrolled the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) as post-doc researcher in the Electrical Engineering Area. Since 2016 Cristina leads the research group on Energy Systems Analytics devoted to the application of novel optimization techniques and data science to innovative energy usages and the energy systems integration field. She also is operating agent of the IEA HEV TCP on V2G technology.
